Kwabena Asumadu, a 23-year-old student at Oyoko School of Dispensing Optics, was shot dead by unknown assailants in Kumasi.

This tragic occurrence took place on the evening of Tuesday, July 19th, 2022 around 11 p.m. Kwabena was shot and killed while returning to Sofoline in Kumasi to pick up a buddy.

Several shots were fired through the driver’s side of the unregistered Mercedes-Benz of the deceased, who was shot to death.

When the sad situation occurred, he was returning to Offinso. Before he died, Kwabena had suffered gunshot wounds to the neck and head. According to information from law enforcement, nothing was taken from him.

Retaliation against Gameboy

Nevertheless, it has come to light that Kwabena Asumadu was an online fraudster who was a member of the Gameboy (a local term for Yahoo guys) gang.

According to the article, the four members of the group worked hard to earn the money and intended to split it evenly.

Asumadu is said to have fled the region with the money and purchased himself a Mercedes-Benz before fleeing the country.

So, his three buddies were enraged and hateful of him and began looking for him as a form of retaliation.

They sent a snitch to keep an eye out for Kwabena’s whereabouts. When the clock ran out, he was ambushed by three of his pals, who shot and killed his son on the spot.

Because Kwabena Asumadu had decided to hold on to the money they had fought so hard for, the killing was an act of retribution.

Many people believe that his early death was caused by his arrogance and self-centeredness. On social media, this knowledge has been extensively circulated.
